Even though we have 4 kids Brady is definitely our middle child and he requires more of me than the other 3 put together.
This past year there has been a lot going on in our home, good and bad. We have had everything from huge celebrations to some medical scares. Thus, requiring a lot of my attention to go elsewhere.
So I decided it was time to make up for it… on Friday Mr. Brady graduated from preschool and with the way we were talking about it… you would have thought he was a child prodigy receiving a doctorate.
(I don’t mean to brag or anything… but he does know the letters P H and D sorta-ish)
We talked and talked all week about his upcoming graduation and decided to have some friends over for a party.
It was so fun to make a big deal out of him and such a sweet reminder of what a blessing it is to make a child feel special.
Seriously??? How cute is he in this cap and gown?
And in true middle child fashion… He had to have a cake with his name on it and we even sang the “Happy Birthday” song but said Congratulations to you, congratulations to you, congratulations Dear Brady!
He told me it was the best day of his life and all it took was a few pizzas, a cake, and some great friends.
Cheers to more nonconventional/middle-child/ridiculous celebrations!
This past year I have been reminded that life is worth celebrating… we are trying to live accordingly!
