Today the word is DREAM.
I struggled for a bit about where to go with such a broad topic.
I thought about what my dreams are and what they used to be. I thought about the dreams I have for my marriage, children, summer, etc and then I dawned me…
I have had different dreams for my life in different seasons. Some have morphed and some changed but I can with full confidence tell you that today I am living out my dreams.
It might sound shallow, selfish, or boastful… but that is not my intent.
I have a healthy marriage (not to be confused with perfect), awesome kids (not to be confused with angelic), and more than we need of all the materialistic stuff.
I love my people and the life we live.
I really never thought I would be able to type/say, “I am living the dream” and don’t get me wrong…
1) I went through some hell to get here
2) We have plenty of issues we wrestle through regularly
3) I am darn sure there will be more struggles in the future.
But God is good all the time and all the time… God is good.
So for now… I am living and embracing this dream I call life.
