Exciting Announcement!

Did you read the post yesterday?

Jenny Dean Schmidt shared about her struggles with self-worth and explained how her non-profit was born.

Did you catch the part about us enthusiastically collaborating?

Well, here is what we have been working on…

Jenny has asked me to be a featured blogger over at ChannelMom.com!
I will be posting over there once a month and I am so excited for this opportunity as I will be able to spread my message of hope for the weary mom to women I would never be able to reach otherwise. Glory be to God and a big thanks to all of you for all the love and support you have given me. I will give links to those posts on Facebook, so make sure you are following the Christen Spratt, Blog page.

Enough about me, let me tell you what I have for you, my sweet readers…

If you read the post yesterday, you already know that Jenny has a radio talk show for moms. Here in Denver, it can be heard live  on 94.7 KRKS. She has interviewed some amazing people; Jen Hatmaker, Kevin Lemen, the Duggars, Duck Dynasty, and so many more! Here is a 3 minute video that speaks volumes about ChannelMom.

Here is where is gets good for you…
I am going to post the interview each week for you. All you will have to do is press play, sit back and enjoy. I love to stick my headphones in and listen to the interviews while I am doing chores around the house.

Hear me when I say this… you are my tribe and I am crazy about you. I know I have established some trust with you and on that trust I want you to know I am posting these interviews because I think you need to hear them. I am not being compensated for this collaboration in any way. I just want you have easy access to some great material that comes in a media form I do not offer.

This week’s show features Michele Cushatt, Author of Undone, she has a story of cancer, blended family, more cancer, marital struggle, and adoption. I had the honor of meeting Michele in person and listening to her share her painful story but all the while she was radiating with the hope, love, and peace of God.

I will post her show tomorrow, it is a 2 part series and part 2 will be posted next week.

You are not going to want to miss this.
(In fact… would you like some insider information? Of course you would, right? Well, this concept to share the ChannelMom shows had been brewing in the back of my mind for a while but when I found out there was a 2 part series with Michele Cushatt coming up, I put the pedal to the medal to start it off with a bang!)

I am already looking forward to sharing this sweet lady with you tomorrow!

Thank you for your trust, love, and support.

  1. Christen, you continue to amaze me! Not that I doubted you had it in you to do amazing things. Know that I eagerly look forward to your blogs & although I don’t respond in writing, (& am well beyond the age group you primarily target), I am touched fiercely by each one…The joy of keeping up with your family antics, the heartbreaking stories of your guests…& now this new addition…keep ’em coming!

  2. Love, love, love this girl (she’s a girl to me, because I am old enough to be her mom… even though she politely says I’m more like a big sister). Christen Spratt, we are blessed to have you on board ChannelMom!
